Lovely place for bird-lovers or those just curious! The staff clearly love what they do and are more than happy to help out. Makes for a good day trip out and you can hire binoculars if you don't have your own already. Just don't forget a camera, a good jacket and some time to go to the cafe on site!P. S. If you time your visit right you could get to see a starling murmuration!
Surpassed all expectation. An abundance of beautiful birds and icing on cake was seeing a pair of weasels fighting. Highly recommend a visit.
Another lovely day amongst beautiful surroundings. Loads of all the usual suspects. Very welcoming cafe, served by friendly and efficient staff. Good chat with the experts in the shop. Enjoy every visit.
A beautiful reserve with good access around the site, several good hides and the Sky Tower that gives excellent views across the lake. Good chance of seeing otters, birds of prey, herons, egrets and other water fowl. Events and family activities throughout the year. Shop, cafe, and helpful staff and volunteers. Good Facebook page.
We love leighton moss! The paths are easy to use, hides are cozy and makes it really easy to see the birds. For children there is the Toddler walk (fun!!) and the monthly meet up where there are guided activities. These groups are cheaper than the normal admission price and you get access to the grounds so it's a good time to go.
